To mark the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s iconic album, Pink Floyd enthusiastically embraced the idea of a fulldome show that juxtaposes the album’s musical score with striking images of space. Each song is accompanied by a visual dimension, sometimes futuristic and forward-looking, sometimes a nod to Pink Floyd’s retro visual iconography. The entire album has been remastered in surround sound, and rediscovering it with this sound quality in a surround-sound environment such as the dome is an experience in itself.
Pink Floyd is a British rock band formed in London in 1965. Known for their psychedelic sound, conceptual albums, and groundbreaking live shows, the band became one of the most influential and successful acts in music history. Their iconic works include The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall.
