Holloway Digital Dome Theatre, home to the Saunders Planetarium
MOSI’s Holloway Digital Dome Theatre is the new home of MOSI’s Saunders Planetarium. The new 8K image technology is far sharper, brighter, and more immersive than the old film technology that last operated inside the dome in 2017. Images will wrap around you on a 10,000-square-foot curved screen inside MOSI’s eight-story-tall iconic blue dome.
MOSI is the intersection of science, technology and innovation in the Tampa Bay region where conversations and learning happen, knowledge is exchanged and new ideas are celebrated.
Visitors to MOSI can expect to enjoy over 40,000 square feet of hands-on activities and exhibits, as well as enjoy unique experiences like a Saunders Planetarium show or brave the heights of the Skytrails ropes course.
