SPARQ Planetarium and Observator
The Piner High SPARQ Planetarium and Digital Theater is located at Piner High School in Santa Rosa, California. SPARQ stands for the Science, Position, Astronomy, Research and Query center, and it features both a planetarium and an observatory. The center is a community resource used for public shows, education, and astronomy-related activities.
Piner High SPARQ Planetarium and Digital Theater has been hosting Elementary, Middle, and High School classes from around Sonoma County since 2016. They have had 7,000+ visitors over this time with an average attendance of 750+ students each school year (minus 2021 due to COVID).
